Firstly, I am a wife and a mother to three beautiful daughters. I value having a healthy work-life balance. Family is an essential aspect of my life. However, I am invested in watching people win; whatever that win may be, my passion is solely rooted in people.
My business journey started in 2009 while I was still a full-time college student. An executive presented an opportunity to build and run a satellite office for a non-emergency medical transportation company, and I took it. My experience was bare-bones; it took extensive coaching, research, and the mindset of TRY, leading to my success.
Over the next 12 years, I worked in several roles within the government and corporate sectors that allowed me to grow and challenge others to achieve their goals.
With a strong 12 years of direct hands-on experience in various industries, including a university-run start-up business incubator and years of formal education, I can help others in business and career services.
My experience has helped countless individuals with business design, start-up & reconstruction, administration and grants, research, and job-seeking tools & resources.
My work diversity has groomed me to be diverse in business operations. I began performing freelance work in 2016 but now see a greater need and demand, so I have launched SL Brown to fulfill a need for individuals and business owners of all sizes.
